Roadkill Nights doubles up for more action.

For the first time Roadkill Nights was a two day event. The first day Friday was a combined effort with Roadkill and Tom Bailey's Preparty to support epilepsy research. The day held a  carshow, Burnout contest and meet and greet with Motor Trend tv stars. The Burnout contest was a fan favorite with Finnegan and Freiburger recording part of a new episode at the begining. Tom Bailey filled the crowd with colored smoke from a Blazer with Aussie tires. The star of the contest was a Gasser that filled the air with smoke till he blow his motor. The day also showcased the racers who would take on Woodward the next day.

Day two was the day for racing. The weather was perfect no rain in sight all day. This years crop of cars was very good. Small Tire and Big tire classees were stacked with over 120 cars registered. Fastest Dodge went to James Pranis in his 68' Charger for the second year netting him $5,000.  Small Tire went to Alen Danial in his 79' Malibu. Big Tire was a who's who of Drag week Tom Bailey, Joe Barry and Dave Schroeder. Go Fast Productions joined the Drag week guys with 8 cars of their own. The big tire class was sweep by Go Fast and Jim Kline won big tire in his 66' GTO followed by his fellow Go Fast racers Bryan Rosario in his 72' Camaro placed 2nd and Little Jimmer Kline in his 66' Acadian finished 3rd.

The celebertity shootout was won by David Freiburger and Leah Pritchett which netted $10,000 for the United Way. Malcomb County Sherriff Anthony Wickersham won the Sheriff battle.Matt Hagan and Leah Pritchett did their tradional burnouts for the crowd.  Hemi Under Glass did wheelie runs for the crowd and the fireball trucks were back. More than 6,800 rides were give by Dodge thrill rides and over $21,000 was made for United Way. This year was a complete success and I'm looking forward to next year already.
