The Need For Speed with the Speedring event at M1Concourse.

Its that time again for fast cars and new records at M1Concourse. Motovicty Distribution sponsored the Speedring event this year. Drivers came from all over the US and Canada to get a piece of the prize pool this year. Canada showed strong this year taking three of the four awards. There was three classes street modified, Track modified and Unlimited. Motovicity and the guys from Gridlife put on a succesful event with lots of vendors from the automotive world and a Dj spinning music all day. Drivers and spectators got a chance to see new products from many vendors. M1 concourse was the scene for Speedring and the debut of the new Formula Drift style bracket battle. Two drivers on the track at a time. Best of three fastest laps move on. Awards went out to top three in each class and one more award went out to the fastest lap of the weekend.

Tom O'Gorman had a busy weekend between Speedring and another event at Mid-Ohio. Tom used a borrowed WRX  to take home the Street Modified title beating Shawn Krebsbach in is EVO. Tom had impressive times in 1:10 range.
